In order to direct the flow of visitors to Stuttgart’s “Neckar Park” event area, Signalbau Huber has installed a highly modern, computer-supported car parking guide system. 30 dynamic and 28 static park signposts and information panels dynamically guide the approaching cars looking for parking spaces to allocated parking spaces and then subsequently release the motorised visitors efficiently back into the traffic network.

The scope of delivery also includes a pedestrian directing system that points visitors on the grounds safely towards escape routes in cases of emergency. During the football World Cup games in Stuttgart, the car parking guide system enjoyed a great deal of public appreciation and has gained role model status in Germany since then.

 

The “Neckar Park” event area also has a multifunctional area, a stadium for 60,000 visitors and the second largest open air festival ground in Germany. Volume of contracts: 1.1 million €
