Data backup at traffic lights
The Data Logger DL records the signalization of traffic lights and documents data as for example
circulation time, program, important status messages, etc. These protocols facilitate traffic flow analysis and the evaluation of the traffic load of different driving directions. Further on, the data can be used for clarification in the event of an accident.
A multitude of parameters can be stored according to the connected traffic controllers:
- Signaling status (signal times schedule) of the controller
- Public Transport Priority Data (requests and telegrams)
- Detector data, seizure and counting
- Circulation time and wave time
- Phase number
- Program number
- State of variables
For data storage, CompactFlash Cards or IBM micro drives with up to 2 GB can be used. The data ist stored either in a circular buffer or in a linear memory mode. Dependent on the traffic controller the recording period can be up to 6 months
