VTC Controller Series
New technology for world-wide use
The controllers of the VTC Controller Series are costeffective, fully electronic systems that give the user the ability to supply the units with data simply and rapidly without long training periods.
The hardware technology is based on a powerful microprocessor control system. Two-channel diversity incorporated into the control electronics means that the hardware is continuously and reliably self-monitoring. Traffic-endangering situations are excluded.
In accordance with the requirements of international markets the controller can be operated both on 230V mains and with voltage of 110V. Integral power-supply monitoring ensures stable behavior in the control system, at the same time guaranteeing the lights’ required visibility. In case of mains variation the system shuts down and restarts automatically.
Connection to a central traffic computer system via data interfaces like OCIT. All the electronics are installed in a swivel frame and easy to maintain. On the integral display panel status reports can be called up and individual parameters changed online. Data can be supplied and parameters set with the aid of a notebook.
To implement traffic-dependent signal control a variety of detectors is available. A radio clock (DCF77-receiver) is available as an option. The standardized 19” system enables a very wide range of modules to be readily integrated. Expansion to include public transport priority control components and linking to a central traffic computer system are prepared for.
